By-product materials in the production of next generation SCC.
CRC Press/Balkema.
Self-Compacting Concrete (SCC) is an advanced type of concrete that can flow under its own weight, completely filling formwork and achieving full compaction, even in the presence of congested reinforcement. In hardened state, SCC is dense, homogeneous and has similar engineering properties as the traditionally vibrated concrete. The current study examines the effect of various by-product materials on the development of high quality SCC mixtures.
