Submillimetre Astronomy with the James Clerk Maxwell Telescope.
Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
The James Clerk Maxwell Telescope is the world's largest dish designed specifically for use at submillimetre wavelengths (0.3-3 mm). It is also, by any objective measure, the world's most productive submillimetre observatory. The telescope, the site, the instrumentation suite and the future scientific programme are presented in this paper.
