The article offers a response to the works of researchers Christian Cordes and Clifford Poirot on the topic of economic and social evolution and marks some differences in opinion. The term Darwinism and its many rebirths have transformed once again as generalized Darwinism. Ideas of evolutionary biologist Charles Darwin can help to explain more than just individual evolution, but the evolution of different parts of society as well. The article explores Darwinian principles and complex population systems. Clarification between the analogies and metaphors of the biological and social groups are given. The author critiques many points of Cordes's argument.
